Rebuilding NIDO Cambodia

Highlights:
Nomination forms
Whom to be nominated
Election date

Just so you know, the interim committee that has been appointed about six months ago with primary obligation of restructuring NIDO Cambodia and her members in the kingdom has been putting tireless efforts to see that the primary purpose given to the committee by members with an utmost trust is achieved and things are back on track for good. Special thanks to the chairman who despite his busy schedules try to mobilize members for meetings and unifying people together again. 'On personal note', I'd suggest and support any motion for his proper election or appointment into office as president or chairman of NIDO Cambodia and every other offices can be contested for by members. Check his track records for six months in office as chairman of interim committee!

Nomination forms: For over two or three weeks now the interim committee has announced availability of forms and where there are to be obtained but surprisingly only few people has picked up forms. NIDO belongs to Nigerians resident in Cambodia and few hands cannot do the work alone. We're encouraging more people to get forms filled and return on/before Sunday 8th. We do not discriminate on anyone willing to pick forms but be sure you want to serve and be willing to sacrifice your time for this. It's purely voluntary, no incentives attached. Women are also encourage to pick forms.

Whom to be nominated for various offices is the sole responsibility of all members and we hope to have full house (congress) come the election day. There should be no fear of the unknown and we openly encourage new people-members to step up to the contest too. This is going to be free and fair processes! Only the best hands available would occupy offices.

The election date according to the interim committee would be 8th April 2012 with venue yet to be sorted out. The committee owe it to inform members of the venue once a place is confirmed between now and weekend. More also, the embassy in Manila has promised to be on ground to witness the election of the new executive for the first time ever in Cambodia and this I believe would calm situation and a sign of good corporations between the embassy and NIDO Cambodia. Thanks to the mission and Nigerian ambassador to Manila for their concerns for NIDO Cambodia and making sure we have a stabilize running organization here.

Note: Anyone willing to obtain nomination forms should please contact the secretary or the chairman and numbers to call are below;

Chairman-099 634 134

Secretary- 011 419 017

Thanks and God bless NIDO Cambodia
