Love and Peace

Tony

Everything they say happen for reasons and they have lessons to teach people as they come. I had a brief time with the detainee and I could sense some level of tune of softness and meekness far different from what it used to be. Mr. Tony in his recent speech earlier today said he has learnt his lessons and this serves as eye opener to him perhaps a clear view of what it takes to be a leader.

He was preaching about peace and love as a necessity to foster unity among Nigerians in Cambodia. He further said that despite what has happened and still happening, he wish to say people should stay united and take a stand for what's just no matter what's happening, He regret the incident befalling the association and her members. However, all hope is not lost yet and if given the chance to set records straight, he would correct every wrong steps and ensure that Nigerians in Cambodia live together in unity.

He further sent few words of encouragement to serving executives who might have done everything to keep the ship sailing. Not left out in his mind, are all those who have showed great supports for him even in time as this and for having faith in him. He wish justice would prevail and he shall be free as every other normal human with total legitimate freedom to human rights.

  10. Wow you Nigerians can be a very nasty and jealous bunch! and by the sounds of it you were lucky to have such a president. Someone that did care for once and truly did something to help you, in a country where they would just as soon kick you then smile at you. and how did you repay him? by having him set up and detained. Now you call this man "mean and satanic" no wonder you have such problems with in your community here! God help you with what will happen to you all when he is tired of your abuse and no longer wants to stand and defend you here. Because after all who wants to stand for a bunch of thugs and thieves? When this is how you have treated the only person that has.

  16. Well,

This is overwhelming and getting real interesting to know that people still care much about what's happening and where we have missed it. I have read all your comments here and this is where I stand.

Lets' convey a meeting to discuss issues as online meeting alone won't help enough.

Lets' be open minded to face reality n bear in mind that we are seeking way forward not how to wreck things more.

Please, people should try to avoid the use of foul language here, like referring to Nigerians as beasts! I'm no one and sure neither anyone else is. Lets's watch it please..

Truth is truth and we can't shy away from it.

  25. People are entitle to their opinions and so its Harry. I'm entitle to speak the truth because I care about what's happening now among my people. Also, am not doing this to be recognized by anybody or trying to be an hero. I know quite well heroes are never be recognized in our place irrespective of their immeasurable efforts and late sam loco was a good example. I do appreciate the fact that you are warning me here but I do not foresee any threat as you posing it. Thanks for the warning and I should take to it now.

On other hand, Beed like every single Nigerians living in the kingdom has constitutional rights to vote and be voted for so people should quit condemning or discouraging anyone willing to taste NCSA leadership.

Issue of d excos would remain silent on my side for now as I'm preparing heavily to publish a mind blowing article on what's been going on around them.

I personally encourage anyone with sincere heart and capable of leading people to please step out to run for an office whenever there is an opportunity. Hope of a community do not lay solely on one person. Life na turn by turn

  26. Mr. Anonymous u said people didntcome to meeting so exco has not failed. .Why people dont come? If the excos are credible people willl honor their call. Bede has called for meeting many times yet nobody attend so u can see why they have failed and the best thing for them to do now is to resign.
Harry u are part of the old executive and was once given vote of no confidence. You lost the election and only GOd know how u smuggle your way back to the new executive. Like many of the present exco how many are actually occupying position they were voted for? Let us be honest with our self the election that brought in this regime right from cowch to now is fake and untill we do the right thing we will continue to fail.

  28. The problem with nigerians is that they dont like to say the truth or being told the truth. What is happening to the association now is simply self imposed.

    My question are as follows
Why are people not coming to the Meeting called by the Executives?

Where are the people who filled more than 10 busses during the election time?

Why are The people who clamoured for change then?

Who is in charge since the detention of the de facto president?

What is the embassy doing concerning the impasse that has befallen the association?

Do we really need the association to forge ahead as a people here in cambodia?

answers to these questions will really help us find a way forward.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Bob, you have asked brilliant questions here and wish people would respond to them.

However, its true that Nigerians needs the association to forge ahead. Gathering of the people has helped a lot in sorting different challenges and rendering help to people as regard consular n others.

Embassy can only act if d people are speaking with a voice. I can confirm this with you here that they are aware of whatever happenings on ground.

People are not honoring calls for meeting because they are several under ground forces posing strong opposition against the ruling government and no doubt about this as what's happening now are obvious example.

As to who's in charge since president's detention, is the acting president as constitution rights, Mrs Fatima! Undoubtedly, she's doing her best and people should learn to respect that till issues are properly resolved and we are back together again as a community.

Why are you asking for those rallied for change then when you see them on streets every day? They are acting on instructions I presumed and one has to be loyal to leadership hence you dance to the playing music. People are around waiting and watching.

Finally, there's no community without leadership and we are not an exceptional one. If no vote of confident is pass on present leadership then lets come out to dissolve their ruling and appoint or elect people with credibility on ground transparency for brighter future.

WE DON'T KNOW WHAT WE ARE MISSING WHILE THIS SHAMEFUL INCIDENT SURROUNDS US AND UNTIL WE ARE SHOWN THE SHINING LIGHT THE STRUGGLE CONTINUES.

    GOD Bless!!!

  30. @Harry thank u for answering my questions. From all you said, it is clear there are problems within the nigerians here. Have the exco tried to identify those problems? For sure the problems have always existed and if the former executives can overcome them until they handed over why can't the present exco do the same?
You say Fatima is in charge now, that is number one problem because Fatima is not voted for as president. She was voted as chairlady. How she became vice and then president is unconstitutional.

You say people should come and dissolve the executives. That is not possible because if you do that it's like dissolving the association.

It is only in Nigeria leaders are clueless.

Look at the world bank president. He resigned the moment he was accused of rape. Now he has been freed of the charge.

As soon as our president was arrested. Guilty or not guilty he suppose to resign and the vice call for a meeting to re elect a new president. The excos didn't do that but you just took over and started spreading lies about thinking nigerians are all fools.

Look my brother Harry the issue on the ground is simple and the excos have to take the right step.

    Where is the General Secretary?
Are the executives united and speaking in one voice?

If the head is not in order how do you expect the house should be in order?

    MAY GOD HELP

  31. Thank you @ bob for your questions which Harry deliberately avoided. I have stopped commenting here but decided to return when i saw that harry keeps misleading people. I cant believe an exco will be talking this trash.

@ Harry, sometimes I think you are intelligent but it is now apparent that you are not a thinker or reflective, you just write without deep research into causes of issues. You know how to read and write but you are brain dead as far as reasoning is concern.

You have failed several times to make any point to me at all; you continue to make general statement like Mr. Bede ‘’ please come to meeting, please do this do that’’ ‘’ please register for NIDO’’ Please pay office rent’’ very idiotic statements.

The first issue you need to address is that people are fed up with people like you and Mr. Bede, you guys created more problems, both of you lack morality to talk to Nigerians, you were sent off from the previous regime, I can honestly called you a recycle failed person.

Mr. Bede is the most controversial man that I ever seen, he dine with devil and God at the same time, never straight forward guy, he misled Tony up to this point.

The major blunder of Tony was listening to you and Bede by making Fatima a vice president, how on earth you will do that, that issue could have been a whole congress decision, since Tony make that decision he lost the credibility, it was a political suicide on part of Tony.

I heard that Pastor said it is the turn of his wife to chop, that why are people against her? That is a man of God? I hope your church will continue to grow.

Tony was completely out of touch with the reality because of the circle he gathers around him, I pity him, he has the heart to do, but he was a victim of Bede and Jealous people, they led him to his present problem, I hope he will learn and move forward with his life.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Fatima won the election thanks to United Brothers orchestrated jungle politics; can Fatima beat Mimi on merits? I am happy that Fatima said UB did not elect her, do you see another reason why there is problem? Very ungrateful bunch

Tony is just very unfortunate, when he got the power he was listening to wrong people like you, Bede, Collins, pastor Joshua, people without credibility, Collins is a big fools, no wonder his an orphan, no training at all, just talk and talk.

The ambassador visit, the exco member were all full of lies, you guys kidnapped the ambassador on his visit here and prevented him from seeing people, and after feeding him with your own stories before your ‘’set up’’ meeting, you see , people come to chop and go, let the ambassador, come and form NIDO now.

Harry you guys should bury your heads in shame, and resign dis-honorably because you have failed and nobody want to come and listen to your talking.

Who appointed Bede as special adviser? , it was a mistake on the part of the old exco, and the late president, Coach first job was to fire Bede, but death of coach saved Bede, that was why Bede and fatima wanted him send to Nigeria at all cost, after he died Bede next target was Tony, he led tony to made various mistakes even when Tony went to detention, he was feeding him with lies.

The victims of this ugly situation are Tony and Nigerian people here.

  33. Haven stated the above, Here are my suggestions for solution as we all need peace to reign as Harry keeps advocating if only its from a sincere heart

Solution #1, Mr. Bede should announce his resignation as special adviser and ban from taking any position in the association. He has failed because his complete dishonest man, he needs time for his teaching and family. Let him announce it through his text messages or email, we don’t need to call a meeting.

Solution #2. Fatima selection as Vice President is unconstitutional, in-respective of her inauguration by the ambassador, as we can see in Nigeria a Governor is removed after serving two or more year as the Chief executive, so don’t say because she was inaugurated she cannot be remove, that will be a contrary to the law, what is wrong can never be right, so let us do the right thing. Fatima if you are a leader and people don’t honor you I think you should go, don’t wait until you are disgraced out, Any good leader will know when to exit.

The selection of Fatima as Vice President was done in secret and announced so let her dis- selection also be in secret and announce, Let her go back to her Chair lady position, Mimi should be ok as a floor member because she has not shown any sign of a good leader. After she was floored in the election, she went again to beg to be appointed vice chair lady. Up till now, she is neither here nor there.

Solution #3. This is to do with Tony, he has not been proven guilty and he has not resigned as the President, the decision is up to him. Tony can call for dissolution for the house and fresh election called,

Solution #4.There is a vacant position which is the Vice President position, so a snap election should be call for anybody interested, and that person will be acting. None of the present exco can contest, even if they do they will loose

Solution #5 Nigerian will wait until the expiration of this regime term, and the present status quo will remain.

    ReplyDelete
  34. @truth, you have written as your name implies. Very well thought out details. I am sure you are a very good insider to the things that have been going on with the Association. I hope Harry will not delete your comments as this is a good eye opener to the situation on ground and way forward we are all seeking.
I agree with all your solution except for Number 5 because we cannot fold our hands now and allow things to go bad. Many other countries have their association here in cambodia doing well and we have to rebuild our own now. I hope the executives will accept the truth that they have failed and just resign for a fresh start.

    God bless nigeria

  35. Harry l don't know what the hell's wrong with you. I observed you're such a nitwit and hare-brained guy just causing more havoc to this association by asserted it on a personal's blog. My advise for for you is to limbo with this blogs and go out their and stimulate nigerians rather than invest blog and putting intractable task on people's head. Count on footballers how many of them can read and write? Even you harry calling yourself a bawd teacher if getting to some length you will be the trash fabricate.

    ReplyDelete
  36. @harry, why cant we comment on other posts? i will like to comment on Mr. Bede's rejoinder

  37. I happen to visit this blog by invitation of a Nigerian buddy, this is very sad, from the look of things I think Mr. Bede should be out of the picture, since his name has been a cause of concern, and in ability to advise again, his continuous association with the comatose exco will further create more epidemic among the Nigerians community.
Mr. Bede is well respected man in the community with lovely children and loving wife, I will implore him to step aside a while and let him see how the situation unfolds, he should take a bow, the community is bigger than any individual, but if Mr. Bede presence is a cancer to the community I think it is time for him to stop as a gentleman before the cancer spread to everybody, that is my opinion as a friend of the community.

And since Mr. Bede did not want an rejoinder to his last message, then it is time to bow out.

    ReplyDelete
  38. ''Professor'' Bede Uwalaka has never been straight forward person, his cameloen way of life has been part of what contributed to the problem on ground, if you read his email, his defending the present Exco that everybody knows are dysfunctional, vision less, clueless, irrelevant and bunch of fools, how was the secretariat maintained by Gadafi, late Coach and Tony?, why cant they pay? do they want Tony to be paying for the secretariat? and our ''Professor'' is opening his mouth to say the present Exco is trying, trying what? Bede is stupid man, who is power hungry? Bede and Fatima are the one that love power, why don't you go out with Gadafi regime, you want to be adviser for life? you beg Tony to be adviser, from reliable source that tony is your financial backer, all your plan with Fatima to turn Nigerian community into another thing has backfire on your head, Bede people like you will not stop until disgrace out or until small boy started to slap you on the street, I think you should send feelers among Nigerian in community what they think about you. I feel sorry for your kids and lovely wife, I am sure they ashamed of you and your fakeness, but they look up to God for deliverance

    ReplyDelete
  39. Dear concerned people,

Please you may roll-in comments on Mr Bede article declaring his stand as regard speculation of him gunning for unstable president's seat however I strongly advise people to use their discretion too. You don't bring family into association issues and people do have rights to live life the way that pleased their style. Lets' leave Bede's family out of this unending contest.

    Thanks

    ReplyDelete
  40. But Harry why we no fit comment for other posts now? Wetin de happen?

    ReplyDelete
  41. @harry there was ideas, solution that somebody offer, do you have any comment on that? people responded to what you wrote, it right for you to continue that line of discussion, your digression make people sick, let Bede defend himself, once you aspire to a public office, be assure that people will look into everything about you. therefore the choice before Mr. Bede is ether to continue or back off.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Well Said @anon, Bede to me has acted like a coward he is. People have always said he is a chameleon and he has once again proven it to be right. I came to Cambodia just a few months to the Election and the events that transpired prior and post the election within the community showed that there is a big problem among the people. I was duly informed that Bede was the convener of the meeting that gave birth to the Nigerian Community under Gadhafi and surprisingly, he kept his distance even as adviser when the going was tough. He was supposed to have gone with the Gadhafi regime but he lobbied himself into Tony's regime after the demise of Coach Andrew. He has been an integral part of the present excos and so cannot distance himself from the present problems befalling the association.
