With the recent events happening in the country and reactions so far points down to a simple fact that Nigeria and Nigerians seek total transitions in every sectors, being it private or government for a better future and the processes involve in actualizing these transitions are the chain reactions of kiosk, religion conflicts, political crisis, ethnic and economy down streams.
People need to realize that we cannot accomplish so much at this early stage and for the little good we're going to accomplish will bring huge pains with many loosing hope because the system hasn't been on right platform for years and the seemly wrong persons occupying vital positions in government offices needs to be evacuated with immediate appointment of qualified individuals to fill in such vacant offices. Talking about appointment, this is where I may lay blames on president Jonathan by surrounding himself with many tested and failed politicians who in the past had failed Nigeria and Nigerians. Why and for whose benefit are these people hanging around for? For goodness sake, select few who has something to offer with good intention and ask others to step aside.
President Jonathan ought to know that if he and his cabinets must succeed he has to step on toes on those seeing natural resources as personal, family, ethnic, or Geo-political zones heritage. This mindset is completely intolerant to good people of Nigeria. Nigeria is for all Nigerians and so its natural resources.
Nigeria economy is supposedly to be on steady growth level and with all these eventualities befalling the seemly running system, we haven't had any positive growth since decade. I remember the time of late Tunde and Gowon in early 80's. According to many, these men knew what was needed in the system until IBB took them off the scene. This where Nigeria problem begun.
IBB came to introduce corruptions and suicidal approach into Nigeria politics and since then, we have been growing backward instead of the opposite direction as normal people. IBB presently is one among the CABAs fighting the government over the removal of oil subsidy. He indirectly co-own a firm importing fuel into the country and never pay due tax to the government. How do we expect the system to run as we expect if oil importing firms refuses to pay tax? I was happy when I read in the president speech call on EFCC to probe those importing fuel into the country.
How can a country like Nigeria will be paying 25% of her annual budget to these greedy and heartless people for importing fuel and they are evils behind why our own refineries aren't working and making sure they wreck the system for hard working Nigerians. By and large, I'll suggest the president call those holding the economy backward to order and let them realize how much damages they have cost and ask them to step aside quietly and anyone that refuses should be meant to force the law accordingly not the embarrassing way of humiliating ex-government official. Those mentality should be wipe off our political scenes because there are disgusting and image killing on international level. They embezzle public funds, let them make a return under mutual agreement and not sending them to unlawful prison.
Most importantly, Nigeria government should try to come up with more initiative programs to engage the youths with and making them self reliance and future oriented. No doubt, the youths are the future of the country and if much is not giving to them, the struggle continues and more horrible irregularities happening everywhere. Youths are easily influenced with some flashing packages by evil politicians fighting for their selfish ambitious. Number of youths moving out of the land in search for a better life somewhere else, using their vast knowledge to benefit strange land instead of their motherland. This I term national degradation and we cannot afford to see this continue forever.
With these and more genuine solutions to come, we stand a better chance of turning Nigeria and Nigerians into a modern and well improved system for all. We definitely need to have a new mindsets and approach to things. Violence should be completely be a thing of the past and peaceful protests and constructive criticism are highly welcome.

Khmer club
stage performance in Khmer night club |
After dinner we headed out to all Khmer night club and so weird that were the only foreigners in there. From entrance there was this girl standing by and the purpose was to let anyone coming in know that January 1st was a special night and then we were meant to pay $30 for just 12 bottles of cheers beer and this was a serious prize tag.
We wanted some where to catch fun so we agree to get on with full anticipation though but then, its something not worth it and just hope Dara never get read this. It was her idea that we should hang out at pyramid and I bet she had great fun with everyone there. I didn't wanna be left out so I popped into all Khmer crowd doing my thing the way I enjoy it most.
DJ stopped the music and people went to their various seats. Few popular Khmer pop stars performed during the night and wish I could remember any of their names. She said to be very famous and lots of people liked the performing stars. What I found amusing was when some admirers walked up to stage to give performing stars money and phone numbers whilst performing and this I believe was not offensive in any way. I had wanted to offer my mobile numbers to the girl but then she doesn't speak a bit of English and won't make any sense and its not worth it either way.:-)
Another thing sure is raffle ticket. Make sure you never throw them off whenever you visit Khmer clubs anywhere. There're usually draws to give back to customers for patronizing with Ironing, rice cooker, mobile phones and flat screen TV's and unfortunately Dara went home without any of these.

NYE in SR
Hey guys, I've been having some amazing time with friends in Siem Reap province. Solomon, Dara, Dara's sister, Kenny, Bryan, myself and few others that I can't remember their names now made up the crew. We begun the thrilling night at Molly Malone where we all had dinner. Took us extra two hours of waiting for food to get on table. We had already lost appetites until we were served dinner. I remember walking up to the restaurant manager to express my how much we had lost patience in waiting for food on our table.
So we reluctantly ate food because we couldn't have such an heavy night without proper foods to boost up the energy. I was pretty the smarter ass among the crew who had long been waiting hit on crowded pub street. Over 3,000 people were in attendance and couldn't believe little pub street could actually swallowed such crowd. Party started at 630pm till 7am next morning. Different people from different part of the world turned up mostly tourists having it really big.
You won't believe both old and young stuck up in this crowd and barely for anyone to have a space to dance as movement was totally out of agenda except you have to push really hard to gain breathing space. Standby kind and generous stickers pour cold waters on the crowd as people couldn't get enough fresh air. This was supposed to be annoying but no one actually cares because it revived the mood and everyone kept screaming and jumping like frogs....oops! Well, just a way to actually make you understand how stupid and weird people were that night. Then I found two or more aged folks among the crowd and I was like 'WOW'...even you? Particular old woman was surrounded with young girls presumably to be her grand children or somewhat great grant children. Just love the spirit of 31st night in pub street.
I felt kinda sad to find out that this photo wasn't that clear and apologize for this please. I might have been so soaked up in alcohol. The other old folk was a man who never stopped chasing after young girls in street. Just hope he finally found one to chill out with after heavy night out.
Unfortunately I was in same boat with this old fella. I was without a chick and so wished I had my charming chick with me at that moment. She was having a big one somewhere in Aussie without me. So very unfair of you Babe! Not even a phone call to console my loneliness that night but its all good as I also understood situation so well.
Wanna know the finest party? I got to my guest house at 5am, feeling hungry and been drunk altogether then I managed to take off my pants (jeans) and passed off straight away......on the floor instead of my queen size bed. What a shame of being drunk however I liked it I had such a long memory NYE
