Chinedu Ikedieze (Aki) plans bigger wedding and honeymoon (Photos)
It was more like a carnival when star actor, Chinedu Ikedieze tied the knot, the traditional way, with Nneoma Nwaijah the lady that stole his petite heart.
Held at St. Theresa’s Catholic Church field, Imo State, Nigeria, Chinedu and Nneoma’s wedding attracted a mammoth crowd, made up of his colleagues in the movie industry, Governors, other top Nigerian government officials, and thousands of his fans all over.
In a recent interview, Aki spoke about his love story.
“There are wives and there are wives, also there are friends and there are friends. It is easy to have a girlfriend and enjoy yourself and have fun. But I have found out that when you want to settle down you must do that with somebody that will and must make you happy always. Nneoma makes me happy always. When I met her in 2008, it was not quite easy, but I first saw her in 2005 in Lagos, on the mainland. She visited the production where I was working; she was still in school then as an undergraduate. From there, we became casual friends until that 2008 when we decided to move the friendship to the next level and by the grace of God, this is the result.”
Asked, how/ where did you propose to her and where are you taking madam for honeymoon, he said:
“This is one secret I want to keep to myself till further notice, I am sorry about that, it was just between us and not meant for the public and about the honeymoon, We have like five places in mind, the Bahamas, Qatar, Mauritius, Caribbean Islands and one or two other places we are still considering.”

Pain in the ass
Its breaks my heart most time to see how many innocent Nigerians had been treated and still going through horrible maltreatment in hands of heartless and unfriendly fellow human beings across SEA countries and few dating sites publicly making a racial and abusive statements about Nigerians such as "Beware of Nigerian Men" and this is seemly cool with them but I consider this being unfair and its has to stop. Nigerians are not as bad as its usually painted in sites and few public media.
People behind this evil acts I believe are doing it for selfish reasons and its not the best methodology to curb crime. There's no country void of law breakers and when one caught doing unlawful things, that person should be treated as individual and meant to face the law. Making generalization is the worse pain happening to many innocent Nigerians like me. A very "closed friend" of mine was on phone with me earlier today from neighboring country and she said guess what? I assumed something nice or something more fascinating from her in mind but she jokingly said I saw a little written note warning tourists to beware of Nigerians. I had nothing to say in response to her but was a bit upset how that could be interesting thing to share with me but, then I kept to myself in order not to over react and not ruin our conversation. Oops at my friend though!
Aims are never achieved at painting one's bad instead its makes stupid of those deliberately engaging themselves in doing evils to others just to gain favor in whatsoever way at detriment of innocent people suffering from their evil doing. You can't hold a man down without going down with him. I'd advise that anyone involve in this ugly and evil acts should deceit from it now hence would soon be caught up with law. And anyone having issued with Nigerians should refer it to community leaders abroad and you are assured of peaceful resolution and justice must take it course. Don't generalize but treat them as individuals!
On the other hand, the solution lies within Nigerians and federal republic of Nigeria. I think its high time FG has to wake up from their slobber to this call and consider it full priority and a course that must be defeated. Enough of these people painting us as bad people everywhere. As at 1980 to '83 Nigeria was a peaceful and loving country until then government transition went into wrong hands and Nigerians were exposed to certain different kinds of world which has led to present Nigeria. Something has to be done in returning things to normal and ensure the world see us as changed people.
I'm calling on every single Nigerians out there to always think of national pride first in any of their daily endeavor with people. We're image maker of our dear country and public views is the manner in which we presents ourselves. You know you are not bad as they think and for people to recognize and identify you as different, you have to stand up high for what's right and up hold righteousness. Do unto others what you what them do to you. Condemn or discourage anyone indulging in any form of illegal activities that may jeopardize our country name and even as people. Let's stop resorting to violence as means of resolving disputes with people and embrace peace as its our national symbol.
Seek right advise from people you look on to and don't make haste trying to acquire good taste of life. To everything there's time and season and yours would come when its your time. Its simply law of nature and nothing can be done to change this fact. Nigerians its time to chat a new course for a positive change and cohesiveness with our various hosts. Things can't continue to be bad. Wake up!

Interim committee: Responsibilities
The interim committee have had their bet tighten up since they've been given the mandate to reunite people together and I can boldly say they're working on things strongly in order to achieve a common goal.
Aside general stipulated objectives given to entire committee members in carrying out their duties, the committee has it as top priority in uniting people and they tends not to take stand for any group nor individual. Anyone with personal issues should try to resolve it with his or her parties instead of trying to use public in pursuing selfish or hidden interest. We definitely wants to treat everyone equally with love and respect in full interest of our community irrespective of whichever name we may decide to call it. Name would be totally irrelevant since its brings issues among us. Its (constitution) entirely going to be bidding on resident Nigerians in Cambodia to put a huge laid down to NIDO or NCSA conflicts.
As long as committee is concern, we're not ready and willing to take for anyone, issue would be trash out publicly and effective decisions would be duly followed. No individual/group is bigger than a community and at such people should invest best of their effort in bringing people together rather than trying to keep up this unending conflicts among us.
Committee responsibilities
Conduct an election
Reunite people together
Oversee community's affairs for period of six months
Liaise with embassy
preside over meetings
Liaise with host authority
We're seriously working on bringing on general election sooner than people expected and we're also using this opportunity to appeal to members of the public with credible profile to start canvassing or campaigning to his or her own constituency for more awareness now. We definitely want people with credibility that won't drag our names and dear country into mud again and every single Nigerian do have constitutional rights to vote and be voted for. However, the people's will come first as its a democratic system of government.
We want people with willingness to serve, total commitment, dedication, honesty and God fearing that would take up with the lead of transparency going on now. Enough of short ruling and unbearable incidents befallen us! We want continuity and more of laid down proceedings for future occurrence.
We're also working on the constitutional review and several copies are going to be available to members interested once its done. We seriously want things to go in right order hence now.

Ambassadorial visit
Highlights:
Fatima still on sit?
Care taker committee yet recognized by Embassy
Embassy was not officially informed
Group interest come first
Constitutional guides should be duly followed
Rush for food
Recent Ambassador visit has really showed many are good at speaking behind and not bold enough to say things when its actually matter most to faces of those that meant to hear the truth. I classified such thing as act of cowardliness with no apology to anyone or whatsoever.
We've been getting pressure from so many self oriented and egocentric or somewhat individualized interest people during an in-house meeting condemning elected officers of fallen short of expectations in carrying out their duties then passed vote of no confident on them without due processes which led to dissolution and immediate appointment of care taker committee.
I was full of expectations before the meeting began that we were going to put an end to whatever unfamiliar cases existing among us recently and people would have audience to bear out their minds to foreign mission whose sole responsibility is to make sure Nigerians live in peace and harmony abroad. This was far from reality as one 'somebody' who claimed to be an elderly statesman failed to explained why he moved for vote of no confident on then elected officers hence reasons why he was refused entry visa to Malaysia by Malaysia embassy in Phonom Penh. Instead he sounded like he was taken issue as personal as the ambassador intelligently noted to him.
A man from the audience was bold enough to raise most pressing issue in mind of everyone present at the meeting which later suffered a huge setback due to lack of support from audience and I'm doubly sure the young man might be full of regret as results of his lack of support from audience. The meeting was primarily channeled to due with this issue but, then I was surprised this was left unfinished.
Ambassador said the statute quo remains until embassy is duly and officially furnished with every update processes carried out by members in removing serving officers from office which means Fatima still on sit as NIDO leader and reiterate the need for both parties to work together in serving fellow citizens residing here. He also said that he would not recognize the newly appointed committee members until this process is carried out.
Ambassador further advised members to please liaise with Mr. Bede Uwalaka special adviser to NIDO to act on behalf of everyone while the issue last.
Another ugly incident which consumed entire evening was the attitudes of minority trying to cause an havoc during the meeting hours by raising tribal and group interest. Some walked off the meeting while ambassador was still sitting, struggle for foods and unnecessary attentions its drew on us by the locals watching on. I'd point out here every single NIDO present at the meeting had food enough to eat at home and rush for food was totally unacceptable and a shame on us. People should please deceit from such act and learn to embrace law and orderliness.

What money cannot buy for you
Super-rich single Nigerian ladiesby vanguardnigeria.com Who could have thought these women would remain single this long? They are rich, powerful and a good number of them are drop-dead gorgeous. Those that are not super-rich in their own rights have fathers who have tons of money to have any man come running after them. Those among them who have tasted the juice of matrimony soon found its after-taste a bit bitter and have done away with it, preferring to remain single even after a child or two. But others seem to be too busy to have time for any form of romance that could lead to the altar or is it that no man good enough has come their way to propose? Whatever the case may be, they are yet to find their better-halves. Some are in their twenties, thirties and others are hitting on forties and beyond. Here are some of the daughters of the super-rich who are still single
If her wishes have been well served by God, this ravishingly beautiful woman, who was a two-term senator at the National Assembly would have been the current governor of Kwara state. After her marriage to one Segun Fowora crashed some years ago, the super-politician has still remained single. The reasons are best known to her. Though she is a mother of three, the Senator is a dead ringer to any beauty queen any day. She has everything a man could need in abundance. She was born into wealth and she has done so well for herself that her achievements could compete with that of any man. Born about four decades ago, Saraki attended Cheltenham Ladies' College, London and University of Sussex , where she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics. Upon returning to Nigeria , she worked in the banking sector before her foray into politics. Arunma Oteh Ms Arunma Oteh who is of Nigerian/British nationality might have been described as the "Iron Lady" of Nigeria's Securities and Exchange Commission, for her no-nonsense approach to the job of policing Nigeria's financial business world but nobody would argue she is a damsel that could disarm any man.
She has got the beauty and for the brawn, a look at her resume does the talking. She studied at the University of Nigeria in Nsukka, Nigeria, and earned a First Class Honors degree in Computer Science. She went on to the Harvard Business School where she obtained a Masters Degree in Business Administration. Whether her status as a single woman will remain for long remains to be seen but going by her status and achievements, she has more than enough to bring into any marriage and of course that wedding, low-key or otherwise will surely be a society affair. Deola Sagoe Deola Sagoe, daughter of Chief Michael Adeojo, Chairman of Toyota Nigeria Limited, is a woman who was born into money but has carved a niche for herself as a haute couture fashion designer who has rocked the country and caught the eye of the international fashion community.
She is a mother of three who has refused to remarry after her marriage to Kofi Sagoe hit the rocks some years back. She studied at the University of Miami and University of Lagos with a Masters in Finance and Management Friends of Deola have said she is married to her job and her creative mind is working 24/7 to have time for any marriage. She broke through in her career when she was appointed to represent Nigeria in an international campaign organized by the United Nations World Food Programme. The campaign, titled "Catwalk the World: Fashion for Food.", became the launching pad that propelled her into international reckoning. Funke Adedoyin Princess Funke Adedoyin, the daughter of frontline industrialist, Chief Samuel Adedoyin of Doyin Group of Companies, has served the nation two times as a minister in the administration of former President Olusegun Obasanjo between 1999 and 2007. The mother of one has never been married but she is rich and powerful. When she was asked whether she intended to marry in the nearest future she only curtly remarked that she was in a relationship and that her son, who is a teenager is the centre of her world. "He is my heart. He is my everything. He is why I wake up in the morning and the reason why I go to bed at night," she said.
However, she doesn't like to be asked when she will get married. All she said is that she is happy in a relationship, saying "I think that you cannot have it all in life but you can have it all at the same time" Edith Jibunoh Edith Jibunoh is your modern day super successful woman who has come clean and good from playing hard and square on the field populated by men. The daughter of Dr. Newton Jibunoh, the popular adventurer and explorer has worked in the MDG Office of the Nigerian Presidency and the World Bank, where she worked on East Asian countries and External Affairs at the Bank's UN office. Since her short-lived marriage to Stan Rerri was dissolved, Edith has been on her own. Beautiful, lively and very attractive, Edith is any man's dream of a wife but the woman who has written severally on African development and governance seems to prefer spinsterhood. Biola Okoya Chic, sophisticated and very rich, Biola Okoya, one of the most celebrated daughters of business mogul and billionaire, Chief Rasaq Okoya of Eleganza Group of Companies, has not even come close to contemplating marriage after her marriage attempt with Akinwande Johnson failed.
Biola, who is regarded as a stylish woman loves to party and would be a lively one for any man. But for reasons best known to her, she has decided to shun the allure of matrimony. There was even a gist that Biola once stated that she would never succumb to the dominance of any man. Once a hot item on the social scene, she has recoiled into a quiet life, setting adrift the rumour that all is not rosy between her and her billionaire father, who is obviously taken in with his last wife, Shade. Oyin Adenuga If there is such a thing as the most eligible single girl in town, Oyin Adenuga's name would sure be on top of the list. The beautiful daughter of the 'big boss', Dr. Mike Adenuga of Globacom, has everything going for her except having the right man to fit his missing rib. For money, she has no care in the world as she could have anything money can buy.
For education, she is supremely schooled, having graduated from the prestigious University of Maryland, Baltimore County with a Bachelor's degree in Sociology at 19. After working with her father's establishments for years, she is now in business of fashion retailing for herself, though she operates her business from Atlanta Georgia. Just after the spectacle of her sister's wedding, Bella, bedazzled society, the news of her own set marriage rocked the media. But before the news had time to settle, another broke that the wedding was off and rumours ran crazy that her supposed boyfriend was only influencing her through some mystic means to railroad her into matrimony. Tabitha Kwajafa Not much is known about Tabitha, the daughter of Fulani Kwajafa, former boss of National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, but she is beautiful and rich. She runs a boutique, AMEN 2 in Abuja. The boutique is strictly for the high and mighty. There is a gist that she has a son but that gist is unconfirmed. The real thing is that Tabitha is waiting for a man to sweep her off her feet. She's got more than enough in dowry for any man willing to take on the prospect of having this free-spirited woman for a wife. Dr. Fatima Atiku Abubakar Dr. Fatima Atiku Abubakar is the first child of Hajiya Titi Atiku Abubakar for Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, Turakin Adamawa and former Vice President of Nigeria. She is a medical doctor who prefers a quiet life away from social glare. The doctor who is in her late thirties is single but it is unclear whether she has an issue for anyone. Why this highly wealthy woman of substance is still single is best known to her. She is a darling of her father and a few years back, we saw how the family could go the extra mile in seeing off their offsprings to matrimony at the wedding of Adamu Atiku Abubakar, the first son of the family. No expense was spared and anybody who is somebody in the country graced the wedding which was more of a carnival. Orie Kalu Orie Kalu is a beautiful woman who would surely attract a second look. But this daughter of former Chairman of Union Bank of Nigeria, Elder K.U. Kalu hasn't been able to get tied to any man for keeps. She shuttles between Nigeria and the United states and word has it that she is doing well for herself except signing off her maiden name. Gloria and Elvina Ibru Gloria and Elvina Ibru are daughters of Olorogun Michael and Cecilia Ibru. To say the girls are rich is an understatement. Though both babes are on the big side , they are certainly beautiful, taking their good looks after their beautiful mother.
These girls who always rock social gatherings in the company of each other are lively, easy-going and fun to be with. Both are of marriageable age but are still unmarried. For some reason, they disappeared from the social scene for a while only to reappear recently. The sisters were first noticed at a party in the company of their brother, Chief Oskar Ibru and were later seen at some of their favourite hangouts with some of their friends. Daphne Dafinone Daphne Dafinone, daughter of legendary accountant and billionaire, Chief David Dafinone, is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, and Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria. She trained with KPMG Peat Marwick Mcclintock, Chartered Accountants, United Kingdom, where she qualified, before joining Horwath Dafinone. Daphne, who is in her late twenties, later earned a Ph.D. in Internal Audit and Corporate Governance from City University (London). She is one of the family members who made the Guinness Book of Records as the family with the most Chartered accountants. Unlike her sister, Joy Amazu (nee Dafinone) Daphne is yet to sign off her maiden name to a man of her choice. Recently, she was conferred with a chieftaincy title. Mabruka Mai Deribe She is the daughter of the stupendously rich Mai Deribe. A fashion designer for the upper class, her cute body has won her many admirers. She is still single and in a recent interview she said her ideal man must possess her late billionaire father's qualities.
Mabruka Mai Deribe , is the designer behind Mabs couture and she is well respected in the the fashion circle . The Abuja-based designer who had been away for a while has been busy working on an entirely new line of hand- made fashion accessories- earrings, bracelets and rings , crystallized ankara print fabric and dressy kaftan dresses. One wonders when she will gets busy with finding a better-half . |

Achebe's rejection of honor, award holds today in Abuja
Jonathan laments Achebe's rejection of honour, awards hold today amid tight security. What could possibly be reason why noble prize winner and most respected literature man reject an award as this? I would suggest Mr. president look into this critically and seek opinion from the man himself. |

Women walk away from relationships not because they actually want to but to see if men truly would chase after them (depending on the situation please) as this is not recommended.
This same rotating and generational list of women are seemly simple but hard to meet by men in building trust worthy relationships or marriages and when this is the problem, kindly follow the steps below;

This year water festival called off
In Cambodia, there are several festive periods and biggest of it is national water festival in which all twenty provinces in the kingdom compete in boat racing in popular Tonle Bassac river in phnom penh. Last year celebration of water festival was something people of Cambodia would forget in hurry, a tragedy (stampede) befall the entire nation that claimed lives of youths during the three days of festivity and when the news of cancellation came I was thinking this could be reason for canceling this year event.
According to reliable sources, this year water festival has been off in order for government to provide aid to displaced victims of terrible flood across countryside in the kingdom. Its said that over 200 victims was killed by flood and many rendered homeless and they definitely need a shelter and government is seriously considering taking a step to make sure citizenry get a measure help.
Another reason is water level on tonle bassac river is way too high and if government play ignorance on this fact to allow festival preparation go on, it may endanger lives and property and this would be a good thing to see happening again in the kingdom and I think its a good decision not to go on.
Personally, I was seriously planning on going to have a real feel of the events this year because I had never been the riverfront as its hard of people to actually have a free movement around. Capital city get really busy during this period.
